£250 is the cost of constructing a Blair toilet to free a family from the hazards and indignity of open defecation.

£500 will repair a community borehole and give a village access to clean, safe drinking water.

£100 can help a family start an income

generating project.

£20 will enable an expecting mother to

access antenatal clinic.

We have more projects lined up for  the future, including a

children's community centre for orphans in Masvingo,

Zimbabwe, and a computer centre in Chitungwiza, near

Harare for under privileged 11-18 year old girls so that they

can receive extra  tuition in  English, Maths and Science.

In Nigeria we have plans to build a resource and

health information healthcare centre for survivors of FGM.

We need your financial support for the various projects we have going on. Donate towards any or all of them, or simply make a cash donation to WCCH. Your money will go a long way and help communities take control of their health and development in Africa and help us end FGM and other gender based harmful practices here in the UK and in Nigeria.

£500 is enough to fund an FGM workshop in the UK.

£20 is school fees for one primary school child in rural Zimbabwe.

£60 is secondary school fees for one student in rural Zimbabwe.

£25 is all it takes to enable a family to own a solar lamp so that the children can read and study at home after sunset.
